Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26, 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are three of her most acclaimed films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is the manager of Assassination Witness as well as being part of the GI-TOC multilateral team. At GI-TOC, her research is focused on the assassination of people in the context that involve illegal economics. Interests in research include the impacts of organized crime on law, policy and legislation relating with human rights. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. In addition, she has the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a qualified lawyer and has worked in an attorney firm that specialized in legal issues involving public law for more than four years. She also has held number of assistant positions with the two non-governmental organisations in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
