Shawnee was born in New York City. She is an American actor and singer. Shawnee has starred in many horror films, earning her the name "scream-queen". Additionally, she is famous for her role as a character in Stephen King novel 'The Stand.' She has made several guest appearances on television shows including 'Cagney & Lacey Married With Children as well as 'Murder She Wrote and the 'Players. She performed in America and Europe as part of the punk/metal "FydollaH' group during the decade of 2000. She played in 'Smith & Pyle' a country-rock desert band that was formed by actress Missi Pyle. The album entitled It's OK to Be Happy came out at Joshua Tree. The group disbanded because of their acting careers and personal lives. Shawnee performs a variety of instruments including guitar, drums and piano. She has also performed solo in the film soundtrack of 'Catacombs'.
