Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job was with the real estate business. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa in the world of real estate. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and those who were homeowners lost their funds. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa had a chance to be financially bankrupted after the market crash in 2008. The couple went from a $6,000 monthly home to a $700/month apartment. Their business as well as the economy in general slowly recovered. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted the help of a friend to make an audition tape for HGTV that featured Christina reflipping properties from scratch. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. The couple fell in love Tarek with Christina. They officially signed a HGTV contract in the year 2012. The program "Flip of Flop", premiered on the 13th of April, 2013. Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017, the series ran 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek acquired properties in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. They spent the next months renovating their home so they could sell the property for gain. Tarek takes care of the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.
