Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London) in London, was raised by the mother, her grandmother, and godparents. Her father was absent from her family. In her childhood, Ford suffered anxiety due to an obsessional disorder. Ford began to become attracted to acting in her teens, and joined the National Youth Theatre. After being accepted at the Sylvia Young Theatre School for only a few days however, Ford realised that this was not the best venue for her. Ford instead applied to the Central School of Speech and Drama, finally winning an acceptance on her fourth application. Shaun Dingwall - who later was the character Pete Tyler in Doctor Who - was one of Ford's classmates. Ford did not graduate until 1993. However, in 1991, Ford had made her first appearance on TV in a show called Surgical Spirit. At that time, Ford adopted the stage name Catherine Tate. In the Nineties, Tate could be found on TV in shows like The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London's Burning. Apart from her regular theatre work, Tate joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2000-2001. Tate was first noticed due to her stand-up comedy in the year 1996.
