Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America is an actress as well as a performer. Bell is an Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to an Polish mother and father who was German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered her talents in the entertainment industry when she was just a teenager. When she was in 1992, she went to her very first audition. She was given a part in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper ads. Also, she began private acting classes around the age of 13. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell took part in the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied in musical theater at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell quit studying in the year 2001, and began playing Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in was cut and only the credits display her. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
