In The Ring Two, Rachel is required to investigate the past of Samara Morgan after her son is diagnosed with a mysterious ailment.In The Ring, Rachel Keller as an investigative reporter is contacted by her sister Ruth to look into the mysterious reasons behind Katie's death. Rachel is told by Ruth, her sister, that she discovered Katie's deformed body inside the closet. She also discovered that Katie was killed by a heart attack.
